Focusing on the Commercial Heavy Civil sector, Carteret Marine provides quality over the water and water front infrastructure. From bulkheads, quays, and ramps to fishing ports, community piers, and marinas in North Carolina.

Our practice spans from commercial loading and water front applications to residential piers and marine transport. We encompass the complete planning and design of new marinas and public access, as well as personal boating applications and water front land management. While our work is aesthetically diverse, our projects are linked by a focus on enhancing waterfront land use and environmental controls for a long term use property.

A few of our projects are:

• The Straits Fishing Pier project is owned by Carteret County NC and provides water access to thousands of locals and tourist year round. The “Straits” area is well known for superior inshore fishing and beautiful waters just a short distance from Cape Lookout.
• The “Holly Lane” project boasts vinyl sheet pile walls for extended shore line protection, multiple piers both concrete and wooden structures and stone rip-rap for superior erosion control on this property.
• One of the largest residential projects we have completed to date is Hoop Hole Creek. This project added a 680’ concrete pier to our resume, complete with boat lifts, dual jet ski lifts, pergola seating areas, full electrical and mini fridge bar, and day docks for easy access while boating.
