For over 43 years R & J Machine has been manufacturing docks, marine railways and boat lifts based in Ontario. There the Hicksons decided to discontinue the snowmobile parts aspect of the business and stick with docks, marine railways and other custom work that R&J Machine became known for.
Over 20 years ago the second generation became actively involved in the business. Working along side their parents the family has expanded even more to increase there production shop to over 20,000 sq/ft. The family believes that a lot of their success has to do with the fact that they have always maintained a hands-on approach to the business.
They now have over 45 employees on staff. Over the years R & J Machine has strived to improve their products lines by developing extrusions and keeping abreast of new manufacturing technology.
