When a repair job on a dock for a girlfriends father gave Pete the sense of accomplishment and enjoyment he was looking for, he began looking for work doing dock maintenance, painting or whatever came his way. A year later, Pete and Tom, also with a degree in business, joined forces as co-owners of Swift Slip and set out to make a living on the water.
